15 years: crystal wedding digraph
A digraph is an ultra-personalized decorative optical illusion that combines two words, such as two first names, in an original and surprising way. Place yourself in front of the digraph. Move a little to the left and the digraph will take the form of the first name; move a little to the right and it will take the form of the middle name!
Any pair of first names works!
And yes, even with different numbers of letters! In this case, we use two (or more) letters from the longest first name to make one letter from the shortest first name. (see attached images)
Beyond the "single to double", we recommend the crystalline digraph which gives very balanced results even for very unbalanced first names!
The first thing we do when you send us an order is a 3D model of the entire digraph, to ensure the optical illusion is perfect. This model is unique for each combination of first names. It is then prepared so that the different elements can be 3D printed. Our pieces are made of PLA, which is a bio-sourced plastic made from corn starch. The letters are then assembled on a wooden base. Two options are available: the lightest wood, French ash, is worked by a cabinetmaker and has a very beautiful level of finish. The padouk base is worked in our workshop and offers red tones that brighten up the decoration. A photo pick (metal rod with a spiral at the end to hold a photo) can be added upon request.
