A digraph is an ultra-personalized decorative optical illusion that combines two words, such as two first names, in an original and surprising way. Place yourself in front of the digraph. Move a little to the left and the digraph will take the form of the first name; move a little to the right and it will take the form of the middle name!

Any pair of first names works!

And yes, even with different numbers of letters! In this case, we use two (or more) letters from the longest first name to make one letter from the shortest first name. (see attached images)

Beyond the "single to double", we recommend the crystalline digraph which gives very balanced results even for very unbalanced first names!

The first thing we do when you send us an order is a 3D model of the entire digraph, to ensure the optical illusion is perfect. This model is unique for each combination of first names. It is then prepared so that the different elements can be 3D printed. Our pieces are made of PLA, which is a bio-sourced plastic made from corn starch. The letters are then assembled on a wooden base. Two options are available: the lightest wood, French ash, is worked by a cabinetmaker and has a very beautiful level of finish. The padouk base is worked in our workshop and offers red tones that brighten up the decoration. A photo pick (metal rod with a spiral at the end to hold a photo) can be added upon request.

It's also the perfect gift for someone who has achieved a significant goal and a great motivator for everyone to persevere without pressure, but with consistency. By setting goals, we challenge ourselves and push ourselves to be better.

The creation of a digraph is a meticulous and high-quality process. The letters are made from a bio-based plastic material called PLA, which is derived from corn starch. Next, we engrave Alain's quote onto the base, as we believe it's a beautiful way to complete the digraph.

All the components of this digraph are hand-assembled on a French ash wood base, which is crafted by our cabinetmaker to create beveled edges, guaranteeing you a high-quality product. The entire manufacturing process takes place in our workshop in the Vendée region of France.

There are times when we forget to enjoy the journey we're on, even if the destination is our ultimate goal. Each step we take brings us new experiences and allows us to learn new things.
